As of late, inspiration has been drained from all the science my brain has been deciphering. But as Robert Olen Butler said, "It's just as simple as sitting in a chair and staring at a screen... there is no other way around it, there is no other way around it."
Today, something has been replenished.
Whittier College is buzzing, honking, and yelping with... joy.
Professors are giddy and eager for the nights' results.
Students are bubbling and bursting with insight.
Most students anyway, save for some poor hick sap in my public speech class who provides up to date "Terrorist Obama" news and the groups of lemmings that can't actually read through a proposition before taking a verbose stance on it.
Rarely I acknowledge the good decisions being made in the course of a day.
Showing up to all my classes prepared.
Eating more than two healthy meals a day.
Dressing appropriately for over-air conditioned tundras.
Smiling genuinely.
Avoiding dorm and laptop for healthy amount of time.
Walking around as transportation.
Not spending money.
Communicating with parental units.
Giving compliments.
Doing homework.
...Voting on a ballot, chock-full of ideas and positions that I understand.
I'm inclined to feel patriotic... say something like God Bless America.
